Its been bit difficult to create and manage RBAC to restrict access to different level of support groups. Normally RBAC involves components like management role, role group, assignments, etc. Exchange 2010 gave us an option to create and manage RBAC only through PowerShell but Exchange 2013 gave us GUI which is not flexible enough. For whatever reason, still RBAC is challenging for some.
We have a tool from CodePlex called RBAC Manager R2 for Exchange 2010 SP2, Exchange 2013 Preview and Office 365.RBAC Manager puts all efforts to simplify the RBAC administration. Basically it provides the missing GUI to edit RBAC settings on Exchange 2010 systems; including adding/removing cmdlets, cmdlet properties, assignments etc.RBAC Manager allows you to create new role groups too and to work with other RBAC components such as removing a parameter from a cmdlet or establishing a new scope for an RBAC role.
